Abstract
Recently we have encountered three patients with eosinophilic enteritis, two of them had involvement in the ileum with generalized peritonitis and one patient had eosinophilic granuloma in the cecum with the intussusception of colocolic type. The cultures of the intraabdominal exudates obtained from the two patients with eosinophilic ileitis yielded E. coli. All three patients did not have peripheral eosinophilia. The involved intestines were resected and primary anastomoses were undergone without corticosteroid therapy. There was no recurrence during the follow-up period of six months to one and half years.
